SpLD Assessments
I offer SpLD assessments in the Gloucestershire area for dyslexia (12+ years old), DCD/Dyspraxia (16+) and ADHD (18+ years old for the purposes of DSA applications) in line with current SASC guidelines.
An SpLD assessment can allow an individual to learn more about how they work best, put valuable educational strategies in place, and open the doors for funding for assistive technology and specialist support in higher and further education.
Dr Elsa K Suckle
As an SpLD specialist assessor I hold several mandatory qualifications, memberships (BDA, PATOSS), a valid Assessment practicing certificate (APC), and abide by current SASC regulations for training and renewal of my APC.
I am a senior lecturer in SpLD/Dyslexia and Inclusion and research and publish in the area of Critical Autism Studies (CAS).
I am available to book for training and consultancy on autism, ADHD, or dyslexia. I have previously designed training packages for Higher and Further Education, workplaces, and individuals.
UPDATE APRIL 2026- Due to other professional commitments I can currently only offer a limited number of assessments each year. I am now fully booked until January 2027. Due to this, I have now closed my booking list but will reopen this again on the 1st of September 2026 when you are welcome to email me or complete the enquiry form below and I will get back to you with available times and to discuss booking in an assessment.
